The Six-Man Super Saturday was started in 2004 by a group of individuals in Hico who love Texas high school football. It is an event to showcase some of the best six-man football teams in the state. Ten teams will travel to Hico, Texas, to participate in this all-day, action-packed event.

Super Saturday allows Hico I.S.D. to create a great football atmosphere and make it as special for the athletes as we can. Our goal is to promote our town, stadium, and hospitality; while bringing the best six-man football to Central Texas.

In addition to the Super Saturdays held in 2004, 2005, and 2006, Hico I.S.D. has become a frequent location for six-man playoff games.
